ABOUT ABOUT

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE.  NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR THE NIGHT OF THE SHOW.

The Rovers are a full tilt duo that delivers bold and surprising renditions of stripped down, raw, acoustic takes on some of the most classic Zeppelin tunes.  Close your eyes and hear your favorite Zeppelin songs for the first time!

Jay Roberts is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist from the Northwest corner of CT. Jay has released two albums and a handful of singles to iTunes and other digital outlets such as Spotify, Reverb Nation, SoundCloud, and even his own Pandora channel. Jay has lent his unique vocals and acoustic guitar skills to other regional artists and has appeared on many projects throughout the region. He continues to collaborate with new writers and musicians.

Jay explains, "The Rovers involves an approach to Led Zeppelin's material that is rarely attempted...but when it works, is more than worth the journey. From hard rockin' numbers to heartfelt ballads, we're all about having a good time, that's really what music is all about."

Rob Zawisza, aka Boots, is a highly sought, lead vocalist from CT who has worked on various original and side/cover projects. Through the years, as a premier heavy hitting front man, Boots has led hard rock acts such as Black Eye, Machine Company and Crystal Witch. Boots enjoyed early success with a rising group, Grady Cane, which released an album in England during the summer of '95, and charted them at #22 on the U.K.'s Top 25!

"We didn't really choose to do this, it sort of just chose us; it's very accidental. But, that's the whole spirit of rock n' roll anyways, right? Not knowing what comes next. Leaning into the wind".
